Full-stack Engineer
Job description
At Neople we're driven by our passion, experience, and interest in neural networks, LLM, and AI ethics. We take some pride in having started way before the current LLM/genAI/chatGPT hype. We believe that AI can do lots of good, but know it must be user-friendly in order to be widely adopted and not cause inequality gaps. Especially now.
Our shared goal is to make it super easy for people to access helpful AI assistants in the workplace and tap into the potential of digital transformation at work. That's why we're creating the most user-friendly digital co-workers powered by AI.
We’re growing fast and that’s why we’re looking for a new (human ;-)) colleague to join our team!
The team:
Before we talk about job details, we believe the people you work with are what make a job great. We’re currently a team of 7 people and counting. You’ll work mostly alongside Job (CTO), Tom (frontend engineer) and Ikram (CPO). Our entire team is best described as open, ambitious, highly skilled, friendly and if you ask us- also really fun. Besides people, we also count our Neople as part of our team. With Emily as our chief executive Neople. We’ll make sure you meet her and other Neople during a first interview!
The job:
You’ll architect, develop, monitor and optimize our backend & frontend services.
You’ll help us build core features of Neople. First key projects include:
building integrations with various API’s of our customers
integrations with contact centers
working on UI to make document-training & prompting accessible for our customers
You’ll improve our code, and will be constantly looking for things that can help us write more maintainable and scalable services.
You’ll be part of our early days. It’s both mega energizing and a bit messy at times, but mostly energizing.
The tech-stack :
React
TypeScript
PostgreSQL (Database)
Weaviate (Vector Database)
Python (for document processing)
Prometheus & Grafana
Everything works on TransIP VPS, mostly in a Docker environment
Vapor (Swift) & Leaf --> currently still part of our tech-stack, but will change
The Job(’s) requirements:*
Our CTO’s name is Job. So we just had to make the pun.
Experience developing with Typescript
Experience with web applications
Familiar with architecting complex software products
You’re open-minded, kind, autonomous, and proactive
Capable of working independently
Comfortable with working with the tech stack described above. Or capable of changing things together with us for the better.
You take security and privacy seriously, as do we.
Nice to haves:
5+ years experience in the field (honestly, we value expertise over experience any day of the week)
Demonstrated experience with AI. Or a clear passion for the field.
A passion for great UX
The offer:
A salary that meets your expectations and market standards
A work week of 32, 36 or 40 hours a week. Whatever you prefer.
Good gear to work with - a laptop and other stack of your choice;
The opportunity to get shares in the company
NS business card or other reimbursement for travel
Interested? Drop us your CV and brief motivation at job@neople.io.
If you have any projects to showcase we’d love to see them too (not a must).
